About

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Child Mental Health Specialist.  I provide individual counseling to adolescents and adults.

    

In my practice I respect clients through active listening and by focusing on the areas of concern they want to address. Counseling sessions progress at an individualized pace. I find it meaningful to help clients discover their own path to overcoming challenges and creating more fulfilling lives.


Education & Experience

I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a minor in Women's Studies from the University of Washington.  I attended Seattle University for graduate school where I obtained a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the education department.  I worked in community mental health for a few years prior to opening a private practice in 2006.
